UNREP ca. 1966-67

I found this photo of the USS VEGA
AF-59 from the '66-'67 WESPAC cruise. I took the picture from the
starboard side of the USS HECTOR AR-7. It is very likely at the
distance between the two ships that we had either recently transferred goods
or were about to. I could not take the picture if it was in progress because
my station would have been in after-steering. I believe we may have been
enroute to Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
I had written on the back that we
were with the VEGA AF-59, ASHTABULA AO-61, PARRICUTIN
AE-18, and CURRITUCK AV-7. Sorry it took me over forty years to dig up
the photo.
