This was taken about 1972-73 while I was aboard the Vega.  Just me and my buds TAD (traveling around drunk) in Olongopo.  That's me on the left, HM3 Ben Benson in the center and ETN3 Gale "Muddy" Waters on the right.  I don't remember the ladies names.  I'm sure they remember ours though. I still look the same!!!!  Yeah, right.  This was my 3rd Westpac on the Vega.  Made 3 of them is less that 4 years.    Picture by Bob Long
