NORMAL UNDERWAY ROUTINE in accordance with appendix I, Page 4-48 of VEGA Organization, and Regulations Manual with the following exceptions:

1. As KEPTUNIS REX arrives, the OOD will strike 10 bells and announce "RAGING MAIN ARRIVING".

2. Upon completion of initiation, all hands turn to and clean up the ship prior to Steelbeach Picnic.

3. Uniform for all LOWLY POLLYWOGS for today's initiation will be:
    OFF/CPO: Wash Khaki Trousers (on backwards).
    E-6/BELOW: Dungaree Trousers (on backwards).
    ALL: Skivvy Shirts, Tennis/Shower Shoes (no- socks), No hats or caps.

POLLYWOGS with watches will be in the uniform prescribed by the POLLYWOG watchbill until 0800, but will then change to the proper uniform
for initiation.

4. Ail Hands are encouraged to enjoy the line crossing ceremonies, but are reminded that SAFETY rules must be observed. Damage to property will not be tolerated, and all hands are cautioned that excessive roughness will be reason for refusing an individuals continued participation or if necessary, for cancelling the initiation. Use ycur heads and avoid unnecessary mess which will have to be cleaned up prior to commencing the Steelbeach Picnic.

5. In accordance with custom. Newly initiated SHELLBACKS may observe the remainder of the ceremonies, but may not participate. Persons choosing not to participate will muster in the Supply Lounge at 0800 and remain below until word is passed that initiation is complete.
